Apple Macbook

The Macbook is one of the fastest laptop computers on the market for its size. It boasts a 2Ghz Intel Core Duo processor, making it a speedy beast for video editing. The new mackbook features a glossy screen which is very easy to clean.

It also features Apple's mag safe power connector, which is a power cable held in by magnets so your laptop won't go flying of your desk if you trip over the power cable. Also it features a magnet in the place of the traditional latch to hold the laptop closed. To top this all off it features a built in isight webcam.

The Macbooks main atraction is its impressive processing speed which translates to around 4Ghz. It's also worth looking at upgrading the RAM to 1Gb which means you will be able to have as many applications as you want running at once.

What's even more impressive is the fact that all of this is budled into a machine thats just over an inch thick and has a battery life of 4-6 hours.

The intergrated graphics card is its only draw back, in saying this it is still able to display video full-screen on a second display when video editing with no noticable effect on the speed!

Overall this machine is one of the best on the market, especially for is price. Couple it with Final Cut Express and it is an awesomely powerful and capable editing suite at an increadible price.

Mac Sucks! My Windows Vista has same performace has that mac crap. Besides Mac are for women and PC are for men... Why is that you see more PC in stores and more people buying PC's. I rest my case. ;)

Tim, I have windows vista on my desktop PC and it just about runs as smoothly as my macbook - only thing is, my vista machine has faster processors and twice the memory... It doesn't show vista in a good light I am afraid... I also have to say that there isn't a windows based video editing suite that matches Final Cut for mac... There just isn't! As for your macs are for girls comments, I can only say that you clearly don't have a girlfriend and suggest you start listening to Abba... Good luck Tim!

Have your say
