DIY .mac web gallery
Category: Apple | No Comments | 1st February 2008
The Apple .Mac web gallery is one of the coolest javascript based image and video galleries out there, but there are a few problems with it; the biggest two being the fact that the videos are slow-to-load quicktime files, not flash and you have pay a ridiculous £60 per year. This is a project I have begun to make my own version of the .mac web gallery to run on nearly any website...
If you haven't seen it already, the .Mac web gallery is a thing of beauty, check it out here: .mac web gallery. It uses a variety of javascript effects to load the images in a pretty cool way.
I have been working with a small group of developers to bring .mac to the masses, in the form of an open source template for gallery. Check out the forum for more information!
I will post an update when the development is finished so you can download it yourself!

No? You sure? Oh well.
